What Marriage Really Means for Women Today
(8 hours/4 sessions)
Objectives: For wives to discuss and explore challenges of "wifework";
To identify and redefine one's role in a win-win marriage; To learn to
ask clearly for what one wants and needs; To learn to let go of anger
and resentment for one's marriage and wellness.
MOTHERHOOD: Navigating Through the Myths & Misconceptions
(8 hours/4 sessions)
Objectives: For mothers to discuss and explore challenges of motherhood;
To learn how to cope with perfectionism, mixed messages, negative feelings
and work and family challenges for one's family and wellness.
Saving Beauty from Beasts and Mirrors
(8 hours/4 sessions)
Objective: To provide an opportunity for teen girls and their women mentors
to talk about and navigate sexuality and the complex challenges and pressures
facing girls today.
How to Avoid Falling in Love With a Jerk
(10 hours/5 sessions)
Objectives: To explore the major areas that predict what someone will
be like in marriage and the bonding forces that must be kept in balance
as a relationship grows; To learn to follow your heart and mind through
building healthy trust, reliance, commitment & boundaries while minimizing
vulnerabilities.
